How Crowd Product took fan experience to the next level at Kanteerava

For those who remember Lalit Modi, they remember him for all the wrong reasons. The infamous scandal that left the cash-rich Indian Premier League (IPL) in a fix followed by his acrimonious ousting are things that will be etched in Modi’s CV for eternity.

However, when it comes to insight on sporting experiences, it would seem as though Modi is the Jeppe of the hill, so to speak. In the documentary — Death of a Gentleman, Modi goes on to speak about the importance of the fan in the grand scheme of things. He says, “Keep the fan in the center of everything you do. He/ she is the most important part of sport.”

In retrospect, it would seem as though Mr. Modi is indeed right. How is it possible to have sport without a fanbase? Kerry Packer realized it too. And now, it seems as though Bengaluru FC has realized it as well.

Being an audience engagement platform, Crowd Product has been involved in several events and activities in the startup space. Be it events, meetups or college fests, the CoPro platform has been used time and again with audiences engaged to the fullest. However, this time around, under the banner of the Support Indian Football campaign, a campaign designed for the betterment of Indian football, we took 20 fans to the stadium. And needless to say, they had a blast. Here are some snapshots of what went on during the match.
